Renting With Ray White Port Macquarie

To assist you in submitting an application for a rental property at Ray White Port Macquarie we have outlined the processes and required documentation:

Finding a Property

  • Select a suitable property via online or other advertising
  • Contact the office on 02 6583 3222 to arrange a time and day to inspect the property. Please note we will require some information from you at this stage to help determine the suitability of the property to your needs.
  • Meet us at the property for inspection at the time specified.
  • If you are unable to keep the appointment time please contact our office to reschedule or cancel

Apply for a Property

  • Complete an application. You can obtain an application form at the inspection OR online here under application form or click hereTenancy Application Form
  • Please ensure your current and previous rental details are included in the form
  • If you own a property please include a copy of the rates notice as evidence
  • Please remember to also include the following evidence with your application:

ü  Proof of income (payslip, accountant letter, Centrelink statement, Letter of Employment)

ü  100 points of Identification  – these are detailed below

List of Identification:

  • Driver’s Licence – 40 points
  • Previous Tenancy Reference – 20 points
  • Passport – 40 points
  • Previous two rent receipts- 20 points
  • 18+ Card – 40 points
  • Motor vehicle registration – 10 points
  • Birth Certificate – 30 points
  • Bank Statement – 10 points
  • Other Photo ID – 30 points
  • Telephone Account – 10 points
  • Current Wage Advice – 30 points
  • Electricity Account/Gas Account – 10 points
  • Please be aware that Bond Transfers are NOT an option.
  • Applications that are not complete cannot be processed.

The Process

Your application is a high priority for us and we will endeavour to have a response within 48 hours.

Please note during the application process we may directly contact your employer, current and previous agent/landlords and personal referees.

We will also run your supplied information through the National Tenancy Database (TICA). If you know of any reason why there may be detrimental information listed from a previous Tenancy then please call us to discuss.

If your application is NOT APPROVED we will retain your information for up to 1 month. At that point it will be destroyed securely in keeping with Privacy Legislation.

If your application is APPROVED it will not be secured until one week’s rent is paid as a holding deposit. At this point we will cancel any further applications, inspections and advertising of the property. At this point if you are not selecting the free Ray White Connect Service you should start to arrange service for:

–          Power connection

–          Gas Connection (if applicable)

–          Phone/Internet connection

At Ray White Port Macquarie we encourage rent to be paid by Direct Debit but other methods are available. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH.

Tenants should arrange their own Contents Insurance.
